Made from 304 stainless steel, these sanitary Tri-Clover butterfly valves feature a squeeze-trigger lock with multiple lockable positions. Squeezing the handle releases the lock and rotates the valve gate, which can rotate 180° in either direction. Butterfly valves are lighter and more compact than ball valves and can be cleaned in place since the disc clears the bore when open. Note: butterfly valves are best suited to on-off applications; ball valves offer better fine flow control.
