Built with a tungsten carbide cutting edge, these hole saw drill bits cut clean, accurate holes through stainless steel. Tungsten carbide retains its edge against the work-hardening behaviour of stainless steel, making these bits well-suited to installing bulkheads, thermometers, sight glasses, and other NPT (National Pipe Thread) hardware. Care should be taken when drilling into stainless steel vessels, as drilling may void warranty coverage on the vessel.
